SOCIALISATION OF PERSONALITY IN THE CONTEXT OF PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF A SOCIAL WORKER

Introduction. The article presents the author's vision of the process of socialization of a person in the context of the professional activity of a social worker. It is shown that the activities of specialists in socionomic specialities are directly related to a person, to the relationship between a person, social groups, society and the state and is aimed at the implementation of the process of socialization of a person. Purpose. Prove that a social worker has the ability to socially oriented influence clients and social interaction with them, determined by his sociocultural experience, specific knowledge and skills. Methods. The study investigates this issue by analysing the psychological and pedagogical literature on the studied issue, systematization. Results. Society is experiencing a radical change in the main institutions of socialization, which is accompanied by a serious imbalance of purposeful and spontaneous forms of socialization. Social work is a specific type of social activity, carried out with the aim of assisting a person in socialization and resocialization and carried out in the interests of a person and society, an essential factor in the formation of public relations. The process of socialization in the course of socially oriented activities of a social worker forms a complex system of prerequisites for the client's social adaptation. The degree of consideration of the mechanisms and technologies of the axiological content of the process of socialization in the system of social work is analysed. It is proved that in this context social work is considered as a technological mechanism of socialization. The spheres of activity of a social worker that contribute to the socialization of a person are determined. The peculiarities of the activity of a social worker in the process of desocialization and resocialization of a person are revealed. Conclusion. The essence of social work is the successful socialization of a person, which allows to achieve the actualization of the self-help potential of persons who find themselves in a difficult life situation and to create such conditions in which clients can maximally demonstrate their capabilities through self-awareness, self- knowledge, self-determination, self-realization.
