Abstract
Business management has mainly developed within private establishments, higher education financial literature. In addition, the uncertainty of the environment and the complex nature of the strategic decisions that organizational leaders must make often prevent them from relying on a logical process to decide. This is how private higher education establishments in Benin are regularly shaken by crises in terms of academic delays that are difficult to catch up on and which are not likely to help matters. This research attempts to identify the characteristics of the management of private higher education establishments in Benin. Materials and Methods: We adopted a mixed methodological approach. In the empirical phase of this research, this approach allowed us to provide additional insight into the analysis of the results, thus strengthening their validity. The study sample consists of 175 actors from Private Higher Education Establishments (EPES). Results:The results of this research work show that the principal component factor analysis with Varimax rotation made it possible to highlight for the measurement scale of management tools, five (5) dimensions those involved. The dimensions of the tools of management highlighted respectively reflect the method of recruiting students, method of recruiting teachers, quality of the training given, course attendance rate and educational technology.
