Abstract
Few studies have critically examined the impact of entrepreneurial expertise on job creation despite the abundance of research on Nigerias SME sector. This is because the skills required to start a firm differ from those required to run one. The study therefore examined the relationship between entrepreneurial knowledge and job creation in Edo State Nigeria. This studys primary goal is to find out how factors related to an entrepreneurial knowledge relate with job creation in Edo State. A cross sectional survey research design was used for this investigation. To investigate the link between the variables under inquiry, inferential statistics were employed. The results showed that entrepreneurial knowledge have a major impact on the creation of jobs in a specific group of SMEs in Edo State, Nigeria. Owner managers of the selected SMEs in Edo State to pay attention and resources to ensure that they upgrade their entrepreneurial knowledge so that it can enhance its capacity to create jobs for the citizens.
