Abstract
At the moment, there is a huge problem associated with the treatment of such diseases of the central nervous system as neurodegenerative ones, in particular Parkinson's disease, which is a gradually progressive disease based on the selective death of neurons in the compact part of the substantia nigra with subsequent depletion of dopamine in the striatum, which leads to motor dysfunction and cognitive disorders. Currently, symptomatic therapy is used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease, in which the following drugs are available: Levodopa, dopamine agonists, MAO-B inhibitors, Amantadine.
