Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of the main environmental problems of Lake Baikal and the analysis of their consequences. The main problems of the lake are taken as a basis, these are: "Baikal Pulp and Paper Mill", "Polluted waters of the Selenga tributary", as well as the active activity of people on the territory of Lake Baikal.
