Ancient literature in the Latin textbooks for medical students

The article deals with the question of ancient literature representation in the Latin textbooks for medical students. It analyses the authorship, the topics and some linguistic features of the Latin sayings. Latin sayings are represented according to the periods of the ancient literature. The author detects some tendencies influencing the representation of the ancient literature in the textbooks.
