Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenological nature, structural-dynamic and functional features of self-regulation of the individual. The relevance of the research is determined by the need to find individual psychological means to optimize the psychological state of the individual in a situation of prolonged war, social changes and technological development, which increase the feeling of uncertainty and instability. A theoretical analysis of approaches to understanding self-regulation was carried out, the criteria for their comparison were highlighted: level (individual, interpersonal, social), dominant component (cognitive, emotional, motivational-volitional, behavioral), degree of awareness and purposefulness, connection with personal resources, processivity, situational, sociocultural context. The phenomenological nature of self-regulation as a multi-level conscious or partially conscious, intuitive process that ensures effective functioning, development and self-change of the personality in interaction with a changing environment is revealed. The structural components of self-regulation (cognitive, emotional, motivational-volitional, behavioral) and personal resources (value-meaning sphere, regulatory qualities, self-efficacy, etc.) are defined. The dynamic features of self-regulation determined by situational and socio-cultural factors, as well as individual activity, are characterized. The functional features of self-regulation are disclosed, which consist in ensuring the effective functioning of the individual, realizing the potential for development and change, transition to a new identity, achieving goals, managing emotions, mobilizing resources, promoting self-actualization and personal growth. A research model of personality self-regulation as an open dynamic system that changes and reveals its potential is proposed. Prospects for further research are related to the empirical validation of the theoretical model of self-regulation of the individual and the development of a program for the development of self-regulation resources
