FEATURES OF METAPHORS IN GENRE FILMS

This article analyzes the features of metaphors and subtext in various genre films. Metaphor as a multidimensional linguistic phenomenon is of great interest for various scientific fields. The question of the essence of metaphor causes continuous discussions throughout the history of linguistics, which makes it necessary, first of all, to give an overview of the history of the study of metaphor in various films.
