Abstract
Root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita is one of the important limiting factors in the production and productivity of various field and horticultural crops. An extensive survey revealed the heavy incidence of root-knot nematode in Udupi district of Karnataka. The root knot index was observed is 3.52
