Abstract

The study indicated that respondents had excellent involvement in formation of groups themselves. It was observed that number of crops in cropping pattern had increased during the project period. Membership of Self-Help groups had shown decreasing trend whereas, it was increased manifold in case of Mahila Saving Groups. Primary occupation of beneficiaries was changed from Agricultural labour to agriculture (Crop raising) during the project period. Social participation of target beneficiaries was also increased due to various motivational activities of the Sodic land Reclamation Programmes.
