The Degree of Awareness of First Grade Teachers about the Interactive Approach in the Teaching of Writing from Their Point Of View in Jordanian Public Schools

Abstract

The current study aims to reveal the degree of awareness of the female teachers of the first grade of the interactive approach in the teaching of writing subject from their point of view, and to investigate the impact of the variables (Directorate, Experience, and Educational Qualification). In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (33) items divided into two domains, after verifying its validity and reliability. The sample of the study consisted of (180) female teachers from government schools affiliated to the Education Directorates of the Al- Mazar and Al- Qasr for the academic year 2021/2022. The results show that the degree of female teachers' awareness of the interactive approach in teaching the subject of writing was high, and the results also reveal that there were statistically significant differences in the degree of female teachers' employment of the interactive approach in teaching writing due to the variable of the directorate and in favor of the Al-Mazar Directorate, and there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of awareness due to teachers experience and academic qualification. In light of the results, the researcher recommended the need to improve the performance of the Al- Qasr directorate teachers to employ the interactive approach in teaching the subject of writing.
