Abstract

Fibrinolytic enzymes are widely used as thrombolytic agents. The present study is based on comparative studies of the fibrinolytic enzymes produced by Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus inaqusorum. The result of β-hemolytic activity, proteolytic activity, invitro clot lysis, anti-thrmobotic activity and the study of different production parameter showed that the Staphylokinase enzymes is more efficient and effective as compared to Nattokinase. The statistical analysis was carried out using one factor ANOVA test to know the significant effect of the studied parameter on the enzyme production and it showed that the entire factor showed significant difference as p value was ≤ 0.05 except for the effect of inhibitor used in the study was not much significant. The reasonal difference among the three population means was further confirmed by tukey method.
