Abstract

As a separate civilization center where the Eastern-Western relations were controlled/tangled, Near East is a region of dispute and conflict. Using the British-USA originated term Middle East instead of the term Near East is a result of the strategic-political expansion towards the oceans against the Western sovereignty over the Ottomans. In Eastern-Western conflict, which determines the world history, this change indicates a power and axial dislocation against Eastern people.
