Formation of the land regime of research fields of scientific and research institutions and educational institutions

Particularly valuable lands (hereafter referred to as OCZ) play an important role in preserving natural biodiversity, national spirituality and ensuring food security. They are rightly classified as the most valuable part of the land fund of Ukraine. At the same time, land plots of experimental fields of scientific research institutions and educational institutions, which are used for long-term scientific research, dissemination of advanced practices and implementation of the latest scientific achievements, play a unique role among OCZs. The legislation of Ukraine does not contain a definition of the concept of "experimental field land", nor does it establish a clear classification and procedure for determining land or land plots as experimental fields. There are no clear criteria for classifying certain lands or plots of land as experimental fields. The publication attempts to reveal the essence of the concept of experimental fields, their main functions and types of use. It is emphasized that the main problem is that the land plots of scientific research institutions and educational institutions can include both particularly valuable land and other types of land, because the plot can be used for research purposes during a certain period, and in other years - for cultivation harvest The definition of "experimental field lands" according to the author's interpretation and the criteria by which certain lands or areas can be classified as experimental fields are proposed.
