Abstract
This study examines the solid waste management (SWM) practices in urban schools in the Philippines, focusing on Baguio City and Benguet. Through on-site observations, interviews, and document analysis, we identify challenges and best practices and offer recommendations to enhance SWM efficiency. Our findings highlight awareness, engagement, and infrastructure gaps while showcasing successful student-led initiatives. This research aims to inform policymakers, educators, and community members, contributing to more sustainable urban environments.
