Staff Security An Introduction

The security of the staff in any organization should be a priority. the provision of a safe and secure working environment is essential to the success of an organization. due to the varying levels of security risks that different organizations may be exposed to, there is urgent need to put in place security measures to protect the employees and the organization. to this end, employers must ensure the safety of their workforce by use of workplace surveillance and the compliance to the collection of personal information about existing staff and job applicants with the data protection act and the general data protection regulation GDPR . security management would involve context analysis and risk assessment which should be followed by establishing of security procedures, contingency plans and strategies. this paper provides an insight into the issue of staff security and how to ensure safety of an organizations workforce.
