SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN THE GREEN DIGITAL ECONOMY

This paper elaborates on the theoretical and practical features of the sustainable management of knowledge and information systems, which function in the conditions of the green digital economy. The paper considers the conceptual apparatus and its specifics, characterises the definitions of sustainable development, the digital economy, and green transformation, and analyses the role of digital technologies in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, including tackling climate change, preservation of the natural environment, etc. Special attention is paid to implementing environmental aspects and digital technologies in business processes and knowledge management systems. The methodological framework of this research is based on the complex approach, which combines theoretical concepts of sustainable development and practical aspects of digital technology application to raise the effectiveness of knowledge management. The paper uses the methods of comparative analysis, analysis, synthesis, empirical overview of literature, observation, and generalisation. The key provisions of the paper include the study of the practical aspects of sustainable knowledge management in the conditions of the green digital economy, which is realised through analysis of different forms of information systems of knowledge management and the determination of their functions and role in ensuring the environmental sustainability of companies. Special attention is paid to practical examples of implementing systems that fully develop the potential of digital technologies from the position of the transformation of business processes according to the principles of sustainable development.
