Abstract
Ergonomics, also referred to as “human factors or human factors engineering” HFE , is the application of psychological and physiological principles to the engineering and design of products, processes and systems. The main goals are to reduce human error, but to improve increase productivity and system availability, enhance safety, health and comfort, with specific focus on the interaction between humans and equipment.
