For the 10th anniversary of the decease of Professor Baykan Sezer, who had valuable works and contributions in the field of sociology in Turkey, Sosyologca journal organized a commemoration meeting. In this paper, information was given both about the meeting and about the discussions made by the participants of the meeting, on the various aspects of Prof. Baykan Sezer and his important role in the development of sociology in Turkey.
