Abstract

It was determined that modern methods and tools should be used to form a model for the assessment of agricultural land, in particular, remote sensing of the Earth (RDS), machine learning and artificial intelligence, analysis of big data (Big Data), geographic information systems (GIS), agricultural scouting. It was established that the composition and sources of information and analytical support for such a model are of crucial importance. We determined that among the factors that affect the price and value of agricultural land, such indicators as ecological sustainability, the level of crop productivity, infrastructure development, cultivation technologies, production organization, logistics, etc. should be considered. The analysis of these factors and the results of the conducted research indicate the need to use a large amount of data to ensure an accurate assessment of agricultural land. Taking into account the specified factors and indicators presented in the study will make the assessment more comprehensive and objective, which, in turn, will contribute to the adoption of balanced decisions in the field of land relations. It was established that the data available in the state registers do not allow to objectively determine the value of agricultural land plots. It is also stated that sources of information for obtaining quantitative and qualitative indicators must ensure their relevance, completeness, reliability and timeliness. A dynamic list of geoportals recommended for obtaining such information is provided. Key words: assessment of agricultural lands, market of land plots, geoinformation systems, remote sensing of the Earth, crop yield, ecological sustainability, soil fertility, soil productivity for growing agricultural crops.
