Abstract

The advancement of new technologies promises the emergence of possibilities to monitor the situation at a high speed, which, contrary to the traditional view, technology can be important for improving the global environmental situation. The environmental situation of the world, which is considered a big crisis for all the inhabitants of the planet today, needs accurate and effective management. The efforts of international organizations and governments in the formation of environmental agreements have increased after the Cold War, but the global environmental situation has not been removed from the crisis. Among these agreements, it can be said that the Paris Agreement is one of the most serious and important legal documents in the field of environmental protection and climate change. The concern of this research begins with the question of whether it is possible to use new technologies such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence to control and improve the state of the environment, specifically the implementation of the Paris Agreement? In this research, the state of the global environment, the requirements of the Paris Agreement and the application of the new technology of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence in the field of the environment have been studied with a descriptive and analytical method. The results show that these technologies are directly effective in reducing greenhouse gases by controlling the consumption of industries, transportation, energy, forced home automation, agriculture and animal husbandry, and social and international pressure can be applied to the offending projects by publicizing their information
