Abstract
A mathematical model of an electromagnetic tachometer has been constructed, based on electromechanical analogies and Lagrange's equations of the 2nd kind, in the form of a first-order differential equation with an appropriate initial condition, which allows determining the measuring electric voltage generated by the tachometer when measuring the angular velocity of rotation of parts around a fixed axis.
