Abstract
We reporttow male infant with UTI and hydronephrosis who presented with profound hyponatremia and hyperkalemiadue to transient type 1 pseudohypoaldosteronism, which responded rapidly to intravenous normal saline and antibiotics. In infants with renal anomalies,it is important to highlight the association of type 1 PHA and UTI since prompt and appropriate treatment rapidly corrects the associated electrolytes abnormalities.
