THE USE OF TAXONOMIC ANALYSIS METHODOLOGY FOR EVALUATING DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES OF THE HOTEL BUSINESS IN UKRAINE

Introduction. The hotel business of Ukraine has been operating in conditions of military aggression by Russia since 2022. It has caused the destruction of infrastructure, a decrease in tourist flows, forced population migration, economic instability and has put most hotel enterprises in crisis conditions. The current state of the hotel business has led to an urgent need to develop and implement effective development strategies that will allow adapting to changes in the economy and the external environment, ensure stable functioning and become the basis for sustainable development in the post-war period. Taxonomic analysis is one of the promising methods for assessing and forming development strategies, which allows assessing the cumulative impact of factor characteristics on the level of hotel business development and choosing the optimal strategy. It will contribute to the stabilization and adaptation of the hotel business to the challenges of the external environment.
