Abstract
The ready-to-use therapeutic foods are designed specifically for children 6 to 59 months of age suffering from acute childhood malnutrition. Due to their medicinal use, these products must meet the precise nutritional requirements, ensuring adequate intake of essential nutrients to promote recovery. In this context, the research aimed to develop a food matrix simulator that allows the development of these therapeutic foods. To achieve this goal, software architecture was designed to improve the user experience, allowing the development of various food matrices that complied with the necessary steps for the development of ready-to-eat therapeutic foods and national and international regulations, specifically adapted. to the context of Bolivia. The end result was the creation of a system that not only optimizes the design of therapeutic foods, but also facilitates the manipulation of key variables that influence the formulation of the products.
