Abstract
5G is a technology called to revolutionize the world. After years of development, 5G began to blossom commercially, and coinciding with this takeoff, its presence has multiplied. Two important factors are considered: the saturation of its 4G predecessor and the demand of consumers for greater speed in the service, generating latency problems and the repeated drop of the service with a time delay in downloads and general performance. To solve this problem, 5G technology takes advantage of several different innovations that work together: higher frequency radio waves, beamforming, and network slicing. Likewise, it will increase download speeds up to ten times faster than 4G technology and reduce latency to just one millisecond. On the other hand, segments of 5G networks can be allocated to the most important services, which implies an increase in reliability.
