Abstract
In this work, a theoretical study of the effects of temperature and irradiance on a bifacial silicon solar cell is presented. To achieve this, the bifacial solar cell placed under polychromatic illumination, is the site of a photocreation of minority carriers whose movement is governed by the continuity equation. Solving this continuity equation allowed us to determine the density of the minority carriers photogenerated in the base of the cell as a function of temperature, irradiation and junction recombination velocity.
