Abstract
Hyperlipidemia is a medical condition characterized by an increase in one or more of the plasma lipids. According to classical writings, Ayurveda referred to hyperlipidemia as Medo Roga.The purpose of the study was to study the effect of Amritadyagugguluonhyperlipidemia. Methodology: Study was Randomized, Comparative clinical study. with duration of the eight weeks and two months follow up period. 44 Patients were selected randomly from outdoor patient department of Swastavrittaclinic, National Ayurveda Teaching Hospital, Borella. Treatment effectiveness is based on subjective and objective parameters. The University of Colombos Institute of Indigenous Medicine was provided ethical clearance.
