Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a fundamental element in modern corporate strategies, as it promotes sustainability and ethical commitment toward society. CSR is manifested in four main dimensions: the economic dimension, which focuses on achieving profitability and financial sustainability; the legal dimension, which pertains to companies’ compliance with laws and regulations; the ethical dimension, which reflects companies' commitment to fair and responsible practices; and the philanthropic dimension, which includes corporate contributions to community development. This study was based on a survey conducted with 50 employees of Djen Djen Port Company in 2024 in Algeria, aiming to analyze employees’ awareness of and interaction with CSR dimensions. The survey included questions measuring the impact of each of the four dimensions on corporate performance, employee behavior, and the company’s commitment to these principles. The data was analyzed using the arithmetic mean and the t-test and was processed through SPSS software to ensure accuracy. The results revealed that the company under study adopts CSR dimensions according to the t-test. Additionally, there is a convergence between the dimensions included in the survey, as indicated by the comparison of arithmetic means, all centered around the value of 0.30. Corporate decision-makers can utilize the findings of this study to enhance CSR strategies. Moreover, they can contribute to the development of government policies related to social responsibility and promote sustainable corporate practices on a global scale.
