Abstract
Several active power filter control techniques are compared in terms of realization complexity and performance level. Control techniques involved are: synchronous detection method (SDM), instantaneous (p-q) theory, instantaneous direct and quadrature (d-q) current method, fast Fourier transform and recursive discrete Fourier transform methods.
