Abstract
A new theoretical solution of direct field-oriented speed control of current-fed induction motor with the torque per Ampere ratio maximization is presented. The proposed controller guarantees local exponential asymptotic speed tracking in presence of constant unknown load torque. Experimental and simulation results are presented, confirming the possibility of practical implementation of the designed controller.
