Abstract
Analysis of heat losses in pauses at short-time mode of field-oriented controlled asynchronous motor has been car-ried out. Expressions and graphics have been examined, they let make a right decision about appropriateness of rotor flux control or its holding at a constant nominal level in pauses, depends on necessity of decreasing of heat losses in motor’s windings.
