The advent of blockchain technology, or distributed ledgers, has revolutionized the world of information technology and found applications in various fields, including the implementation of accounting and protection mechanisms for art objects and cultural heritage. The utilization of blockchain technology in this domain can help address the issue of trust by ensuring transparency and reliability in the accounting and preservation of cultural heritage, making information about cultural objects and events accessible to the public, and directly contributing to increased trust in authority.
