Abstract
It has been shown that the pump complex energy modes depend on the consumer operating schedule, method of electromechanical and technological parameters control, time-variable operating characteristics of technological equipment. The comprehensive approach to improving the efficiency of pumping stations has been grounded. It is based on estimation of distribution of the power and power loss in all power channel elements with different systems of technological parameters regulation, taking into consideration the real conditions of water consumption and changing operating characteristics of technological equipment. The structure and functioning algorithm of the system of comprehensive improving the efficiency of pumping stations has been developed. The analysis of distribution of the power and power loss in the pump complex allowed defining components with the largest energy-saving reserve. It was found out that, when capacity is regulated by fluid flow throttled at the pump output, the largest decrease of power losses is at the pump and the valve, compared to the variation of rotation frequency of the pump unit. The expediency of comprehensive approach to improving the efficiency of pumping stations has been proved on the basis of experimental research of the pump complex energy modes physical model. Evaluation of the diagrams of power distribution and power losses allows to formulate recommendations for choosing energy-efficient control method for technological parameters and the timely replacement of equipment.
