SOME ISSUES OF ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGAL PROVISION OF THE ELECTORAL PROCESS IN THE CONTEXT OF GENDER EQUALITY: THE EXPERIENCE OF SCANDINAVIAN COUNTRIES

The article carries out a comprehensive scientific study of the administrative and legal support of the electoral process in the context of gender equality, taking into account the experience of Scandinavian countries. The study is based on the evolution of approaches to the implementation of the principle of gender equality in the electoral sphere, which has acquired key importance in a modern democratic state based on the rule of law. Special attention is paid to the theoretical principles of administrative and legal regulation of electoral procedures and their ability to ensure equal access of women and men to representative bodies.
