Abstract
A method for estimating the coefficient of oil pump filling is proposed, which relies on current diagrams and neural networks. The paper discusses properties of various types of neural networks, as well as the problems encountered when synthesizing them. A Hamming neural network which enables estimation of the coefficient of pump filling by image recognition was build and its model was tested.
