Abstract
The article is devoted to different aspects for studying lexical emotives. An anthropological approach applied for studying lexical emotives enables to define the concept of “lexical emotivesˮ, their functions, and means of expression: affixes, phraseological units, and interjections. With the help of language and speech means, emotional self-expression and emotional impact are carried out, which provides the basis for determining emotivity. The relationship between emotionality and emotivity as a psychological and linguistic category is determined in the article. The purpose of the article is to study lexical emotives in creating the portrait of Mozart based on the materials of E. Merike's novella “Mozart on the way to Prague.ˮ The concept defined the psycholinguistic position of creating a speech portrait of a person based on the perceptual, socio-cultural and psycho-emotive fields. The analysis of the composer's speech in the situations of five perceptual fields has been carried out. This enabled us to study Mozart's social and speech portrait. The article reveals the role and place of lexical emotives in the communication of emotions, which determines the prospects for scientific research on this topic.
