RESEARCH FEATURES OF MODELS OF ELECTRIC DRIVES SYSTEM WITH SWITCHING ELEMENTS IN SIMPOWERSYSTEMS

The paper is devoted to the issue of research modes of electric drives with induction motors by means of its simu-lation using Matlab mathematical package, SimPowerSystems libraries of Simulink environment. The accent is made on the features of mathematical models taking into account power converters that contain switching elements and on methods of numerical integration of differential equations systems of models in their study. Quantitative and qualita-tive differences in the decisions that arise when unjustified selecting of numerical method and its parameters, as well as taking into account nonlinearities in the models and the real parameters of the output power converters have been shown. Errors that may arise in the application of universal solutions packages for mathematical modeling have been analyzed. The results of the simulation have been presented.
