Abstract

Each time when devices and systems connected with contact line are being developed or operated, necessity of mine traction lanes parameters evaluation appears. Protection of people from electric injure is foremost. Researches results on determining of contact lines electrical date which have shown that insulation is variable however it takes place only in the lines with leaking particularly with localisated current leak that is not considered to be normal are given in the article. Such effect is practically absent and resistance is stable at contact lines with good insulation. Testing of contact lines electrical data was carried out at different underground levels of Krivbass iron-ore basin operating mines. Based on impedance measurement at idling conditions and shortcut electrical conductance of insulation and longitudinal resistance of contact lines are calculated. It has been proved that specific operating conditions of electrical equipment of underground electrical transport in contrast to industrial present particular requirements to technique and protection equipment which efficiency and relia-bility depend on parameters of contact lines taken into consideration. Life safety of people engaged into different haul-age way operations depends on efficiency of implemented protective measures and safety features. In its turn choice of efficiency increasing and improved protection equipment creating is based on awareness of electrical injure occurrence causes and electrical parameters of traction contact lines.
