Emerging Technologies Overview

Emerging technologies are technologies whose development, practical applications, or both are still largely unrealized. They share characteristics like radical novelty, fast growth, prominent impact, uncertainty, with future influence on various industries. They are often perceived as capable of changing the status quo. They include a variety of technologies such as artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, biotechnology, robotics, Internet of things, and 3D printing. Emerging technologies stand as the vanguard of a new era by enabling novel tools and profound reshaping of industries, societies, and individual lives.
