Abstract

The article examines the issues of employment of graduates of higher education institutions in the context of labor market transformation and post-war economic recovery in Ukraine. An organizational mechanism for the employment of graduates of higher education institutions has been developed, which provides for the comprehensive interaction of key participants in the process and includes internal and external tools for the employment of graduates. Internal employment tools are implemented by the higher education institution itself, in particular, by teachers, departments, employment departments, alumni associations, which provide institutional support and professional guidance to young people. External tools involve independent job search by graduates and interaction with employers, the state employment service, and other interested parties. The introduction of this mechanism allows for the creation of a holistic support system and will contribute to increasing the level of employment, reducing migration processes, and more effective implementation of human capital through an integrated approach. to solving the problem of youth unemployment and establishing effective cooperation between higher education institutions, businesses, employment services, government agencies and other stakeholders. The justification for the need for close cooperation between higher education institutions and the State Employment Service has been further developed, which will allow combining educational potential with the personnel and resource capabilities of the employment service to solve the problems of employment of graduates by timely informing them about vacancies and professional opportunities, conducting joint career guidance activities, organizing internships and facilitating the adaptation of young people to work, as well as reducing the gap between the education obtained and the real requirements of the modern labor market. The role of educational institutions, state institutions, business, public organizations, and international partners in ensuring the effective integration of young professionals into the labor market is substantiated.
