Abstract
The article represents results of an analysis of the use of poaching fishing gears on Ternopolshchina water bodies as well as qualitative and quantitative parameters of poachers’ catches. Based on the results, conclusions were made for optimization of fish protection works, reduction of poaching pressure and increase of stocks of aquatic bioresources in Ternopolshchina water bodies.
