INDICES OF BIODIVERSITY OF ICHTHYOFAUNA OF THE DNIEPER RESERVOIRS AS FACTORS AFFECTING THE AMOUNT OF COMMERCIAL FISH CATCHES

The article contains an assessment of biodiversity of ichthyofauna of the Dnieper reservoirs from the point of view of commercial fish stocks accessible for exploitation. It was shown that compared to the period of stable commercial exploitation, the biodiversity indices as a whole were characterized by positive dynamics. It was found a negative relationship between biodiversity indices and amounts of commercial fish catches.
