Abstract
There are presented results on herbivorous fish introduction into Dnieper reservoirs for the entire period of their existence. Indices of efficiency of this measure are quantitatively assessed and analyzed for different reservoirs. A necessity for establishment of minimum amounts of introduction for achieving the planned commercial fishing return is shown.
