Abstract
By the release of juveniles in natural water the 7?8 g female Chinook salmon have gonads at the late 2nd stage of maturity: in the phase of protoplasmic growth of oocytes for 3?5 classes. The hatchery juveniles of Kamchatka salmon have more developed gonads, more often ? for 2 stages of maturity than wild juveniles, and are ready to ramp and for food competition when feeding at sea.
