SEASONAL VARIATIONS OF CYTOGENETIC CHARACTERISTICS OF PADDLEFISH

Abstract
The comparative analysis of occurrence frequency of cytogenetic anomalies (erythrocytes with micronucleus, leukocytes with micronycleus, binucleas leukocytes and apoptosis) in the blood cells in two groups of paddlefish (Polyodon spathula (Walb.)) from research economy “Nyvka” of FI NAAS of Ukraine has been carried out. It has been established, that the group of paddlefish has more stable chromosomal apparat in the autumn. It is discussed the possible influence of season on occurrence frequency of cytogenetic anomalies in blood cells of paddlefish.
