PISCICULTURAL-BIOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR FORMATION AND EXPLOITATION OF PADDLEFISH BROOD STOCKS IN CONDITIONS OF INTRODUCTION

There is presented a review of major technological components and problems on formation and exploitation of brood stocks of North American paddlefish (Polyodon spathula (Walbaum)) in conditions of its introduction into waters bodies of Eastern Europe. There are defined priority directions of the development of commodity sturgeon culture with the use of paddlefish in aquaculture of Ukraine.
