USE OF GRASS CARP FOR AMELIORATION OF WATER BODIES AND AS AN OBJECT OF SPORT FISHING

There is reviewed the question on grass carp stocking for melioration of water bodies, where high aquatic vegetation is excessively developed, with the goal of melioration of their ecological state and further use for fishery and recreation purposes as well as for the use of grass carp as an object of sport fishing.
