In the article the ethno-cultural processes of the Evenks of Siberia in the XIX century article are showed. Being a nomadic reindeer herders, the Evenks conducted the traditional way of life, based on the traditions and customs of their people. In XIX century there was a change in the culture of the ethnic group, which was reflected in the materials of the census of the population of Russia 1897
