Abstract

The cause of reducing the activity of the catalyst - coking and its mechanism. It can be seen that the process of coke formation begins with a purely catalytic reactions of monomers that are coming into the polymerization reaction and polycondensation form polymers, shielding the active sites of the catalyst. Coking hydrogenation catalysts and decarbonylation of furfural due to thermal instability and the presence of sulfur-containing substances
